I just LOVE that picture. From that angle, the cat looks a little like my Celina. Is this at your home? I can't imagine looking out my window & seeing deer that close.

You'll get a kick out of this, Judy- it was taken in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.

OMG, Ellen - you just made my day! :thumleft: It really is a neat pic. Ladysmith, is deer hunting country, as well as bear, grouse, squirrels, and other game.

Every morning when I go down my mountain I see several deer on the side of the road. Recently there has been a gorgeous buck complete with a big set of antlers very close to the side of the road. I have to go very slowly because they are unpredictable, but he is beautiful. I imagine he will be losing his antlers soon till next year.

Cat & Deer.

You wonder what they could be thinking about each other...

The cat is probably thinking that it's probably the biggest mouse he's ever seen.

Believe it or not, this same picture is currently being shown on my local cable station

People submit their personal photos & they run in one 1/4 of the screen along with local events listings, weather forecast, etc etc etc.

I wonder if the woman {whose name is on the picture on TV} actually took this. Offhand, do you remember where it came from Ellen? If so, that might be a local pic from my area.

Small world.

I don't know. My cousin who lives near Chicago emailed it to me because it was her nephew who has the two deer in Northern Wisconsin (I put those pics up some time ago on this site) and she thought I'd like to see another deer scene. I don't know where she got the pic.

It's being shown under the name "Cathy Yates".

Just curious because it made me wonder. Supposedly on the cable station, you are only supposed to submit pix you took yourself. I don't remember seeing it on there before...but I sure remembered it from HERE.

But, as we all know, with the internet...you can post something on-line & it can show up anywhere else under someone else's name...

I actually thought that might have been your cat, Ellen! And, if that was the case...she is now "famous" in a small city in Canada.

No, I had a cat just like that until a couple of months ago. She died at the age of 17.

Here are three of my cats. The fourth one won't let me take her picture easily, but I'll keep trying.

Someone sent me this picture today of two albino deer. I don't know who took this one either, but the picture is beautiful.
