What is the book "Cotton Web" about? I found it on an Amazon search under books for "Lizzie Borden". It was published in 1960 and written by Barbara Hunt. There are two hardcover copies selling: one for $110; the other for $225.
I've seen that cover some place before ...

I found out about this book, and it's fascinating. It's on Faye Musselman's blog. She gives a good review of it, and she ties it in to a true story of one of the Upper Bordens' sons experiencing a like incident. Good reading.

Snokkums do you get The Hatchet? It's well worth reading. Try LuLu dot com for the actual copy.

Yes, if you are into the Borden case - or even if you're not - "The Hatchet" is numero uno. (That's the only Spanish I know.) I can't imagine not having a subscription. So much is being found today!
There are so many books with a Lizzie Borden part in them. I like finding the more obscure ones that may have stuff in there that we haven't read elsewhere.

I'll have to get the hatchet. Pay day is up and coming, so I'll be able to afford it this time. All the bills are paid for the up coming month. HOORAY!

Good for you, Snookums! If you enjoy the Borden case - and things Victorian in general, including Victorian mysteries - 'The Hatchet' is a gotta-have. There have been so many first-published photos and fresh news on discoveries, I don't see how one interested in the Borden case would skip getting 'The Hatchet'.
You can never learn enough Lizzie facts. - S. Chapman

Thanks, mb! Well, at those prices I guess I won't be getting one. Good for you for having a copy.

Very nice pictures, thanks MB! Your covers are cool!
Maybe one can try Interlibrary loan?
