Lizzie Borden Society Forum

I had the pleasure of seeing Lizzie Borden Live against this past weekend at the 78th St. Theater Lab and as usually it was brilliant. The show is tighter, slimmer, and more powerful (in my opinion). Like a good piece of music, I enjoy seeing (and hearing) it over and over again.

The play is being done against in May at the following locations:

May 2, 2008 The West End Theater, 263 West 86th St. at 9:00pm.

May 4, 2008 The West End Theater , 3:00pm.

Anyone who is in the New York City area should consider coming to support the show and to enjoy it.

Bob, did you get to see the play?

No, dammit. The Friday night performance was too late for that day's schedule, and I've been on deadline for a lyric rewrite for my last BMI presentation of the semester, as well. So, it'll have to be the next time. I truly regretted having to miss it, and not getting to meet Ms. Dalton.

Bob, I think there's another New York performance coming up in June or July. I'll get details for you.

I would be grateful - I have bookmarked her site, too, so I'll keep an eye on that as well!
