Digital Camera Memory Stix

I am a digital camera newbie & pretty much need "Digital Cameras For Dummies".
Does anyone know what would be a reasonable ballpark price for a memory stick?
I just bought one here today, the cost was £39.99. I just about had a fit. This is quite close to the equivalent of $100, methinks. I regret not having got one in Canada before I left.
Did I get obscenely ripped off, or is this a fair price? I'm pretty sure I bought a moderate, not the most expensive. Prices here in general are pretty CHA-CHING.
Anyone know???

I don't know which of these you have. Not the one on the right. Probably the one in the middle. Any brand name on the stick itself?

It's "Lexar MagicGate". (shrug) I had to remove it to see as I had the guy in the store put it in for me & he tossed the packaging.
That link has them from $65.95 all the way to $239.95. The one for $239.95 is the same name brand, but slightly different. Different color for one. I suppose for that brand, I guess I did OK. That was the only brand in the store that would suit my camera. This is a small town & I think we went to the only store that would have them.
Thanks, Harry. It just occurred to me I could have googled for info. O well.

That's what friends are for, right?

I have the same camera TK. I pay about 50 bux for a new memory stick which will hold 150 photos.
