Mondo has a YouTube video covering an interview with the late author Evan Hunter (aka Ed McBain). Check it out.

I do have to agree with him on one point. This was a crime of passion. I mean, like he said you can whack someone on the head with on swing of an axe but 13 and 11; thats someone with alot of anger pinned up inside.

Thank you, Harry! I really enjoyed it. His novel "Lizzie" is my favorite Lizzie fiction book. I could not understand lesbianism before I read it. I don't know if I do or not, and I don't know if he was right or not, but the book made me understand how one woman (Lizzie in the book) was such.
When was this video made? He died a few years back. I wonder if this was a long time before his death, or not so long.
Sex and violence go together? Not in my book.

Uh, hello out there in BordenLand. I axe-identally double posted, so why waste the space. Okay - here's one: How did Lizzie tell Emma that their parents were murdered?

Wasn't the book before the video?
In his LizzieAndrewBorden Interview he claims that after he wrote his novel he gave no more thought to Lizzie.
I can't figure that out, because he then did (later?) host the video..."Case Re-Opened" 1999.

My copy of "Lizzie" by Evan Hunter says "copyright 1984". That's all I know.
