At the Antiques Center (or whatever it's called) in New Bedford, I picked up a hardcover copy of A Private Disgrace, as I thought I remembered reading here somewhere that there were some things omitted in the paperback version.

Perhaps it depends on which paperback version: comparing both versions at home, I find that the paperback (put out by International Polygonics) and the original have identical pagination and lineation. The only difference seems to be the size of the type. (In short, it is evidently a facsimile.)

Anybody know more about this?

It's just that I personally don't recall a discussion about differences between the hardback and paperback content.

The only possibilities I can see are: (1) my memory is playing a trick on me, (2) the information was incorrect or (3) another paperback edition was in question.

It's been a long time since I have seen the International Polygonics edition of the Lincoln, but as far as I remember, all three editions are the same.

I don't know anything about the paperback versions of Lincoln's book but I had two hardback copies of "A Private Disgrace" with the exact same cover art but one book was slightly smaller than the other. I think the newer version was the smaller of the two. Other than size they seemed to be exactly the same. Thats all I know about differences in Lincoln's book.
