I don't think Lizzie did it!

I know I'm new at this, but I live in Gettysburg and have LOTS of friends who wear those horrible old getups (ala lizze). I CANNOT believe Lizzie would have time to kill Andrew (even naked) and dress in corsets and petticoats and God knows what else in time to meet the police. She may have known who did it, but I can't believe she did it. Not enough time!!

So, say she wore Andrew's coat when she killed him. There would still be blood or residue from Abby's murder. No way!

Maybe I'm a pollyanna, but I think she's innocent!

P. S. I'm spending next monday night in John Morse's room & I'm very excited!!

Welcome to our little corner of the zoo, Ms. Pratt. I must really get over your way and tramp the old grounds again. You're not the first to say she didn't for whatever reason, athough you do bring up an interesting point about the wardrobe. (As for staying in the Morse room...good luck!)

Several re-enactment tests have been done for different events in the case.

Although as far as I know no test has ever been done naked or with corsets and petticoats.

Have fun, Ellen. They treat you royally there.

Was thinking about you last night after an ad came on the TV for the "Most Haunted Live" show. They will have a live show at Gettysburg on October 10th on the Travel Channel. Maybe we'll see you on TV!

You know I've met a lot of Bordenites, now, and no offense, but there's not a single one, so far, that I'd care to see naked.

And the feeling is likewise, no doubt.

Me either, but that might be the only way I could get my husband to come.

Lizzie didn't do it

My,my. Somehow I can't imagine doing the re-enactment nude. I guess everyone, including myself,is thankful I don't play Lizzie. I don't think we could handle the crowds either, but won't Don be happy. Back to the origional concern about clothing,I bet Lizzie didn't get all corsetted up. I don't think she would have had much blood on her anyway,it was just a fine spray on the sitting room wall, and even less in the bedroom. Ms. Pratt enjoy your stay and I hope you can come back to see a reenactment one day.

This is God's Honest Truth, I went Saturday for a tour and Tea, didn't even stay overnight (though I sorely wanted to!) and was treated very Royally!

Hey, you haven't seen me naked!

Altho honesty compels me to admit, the sight would probably strike you blind! (Or at least you might wish you were lol!)

P.S. Doug is a Parkhurst?! I can't believe it--I have New England Parkhursts in my ancestry, back in the 17th century--I bet we're related!!!

Hi, Cousin Doug!

Okay, but I'm scheduled to be Grandma for the first time in April, so we'll have to break me out into a 'special' category somehow, k?

The ghosts at the house seem to have the same opinion. (See my account: viewtopic.php?t=74&start=125).

Just saw that ad during Bourdain's show tonight. I can't wait to see what they experience.

Ellen, enjoy your stay at Lizzie's - I am envious!

Oh maybe 30 years ago I would do a Liz Montgomery version in the buff- but now- forget it! I won't even do an au natural Abby. But I agree Ellen, the only way my husband would consider it would be if there was a Pussy Cat Dolls Review in the Parlor- I have tried to get him there for 10 years. :peanut19:

If any new information about the case is uncovered or revealed by these re-enactments, we can write an article and call it;

Lizzie Borden, The Naked Truth Exposed.

Speaking of ancestry, I descend from an Anthony Morse, the same one Lizzie descends from! Now there's a "Blood"line! And the Morse family crest is simply a Hatchet!
