I posted this under the Alice Russell house thread, but wanted to also break it out to make sure you find the info as the time is nigh for activism.



Save Our Neighborhoods is meeting with SouthCoast Hospital group January 5th to express our desire to see Charlton build up instead of out. The destruction of the neighborhoods is the prime focus of the meeting. It includes the Russell house because that house is on this block, slated for demolition.

Al Lima and I will be present at the meeting with SouthCoast's VP of Marketing and Public Affairs. I will let you all know how it goes.

I am asking you each to consider submitting letters of support in this regard. I understand that public involvement in this case is vital to gain the compromise we are seeking.

Please email them to me at [email protected]. You can address the recipient in the letters as SouthCoast Health System.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
