A hung jury that is. A re-enactment of the trial by middle school students in New Hampshire resulted in that verdict.

See: http://www.citizen.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar ... /CITNEWS08

The case was converted from a criminal case to a civil case. It doesn't say who was sueing her however.

I expected this to be about the ballet Fall River Legend, in which Lizzie gets hanged. I was looking forward to correcting you, but no such luck!

Looking forward to correcting me? Hopefully that was a compliment.

Absolutely. (Incidentally, contrary to popular belief, your use of "hopefully" was NOT incorrect.)

Yes these were the kids we had at the house about 2 weeks ago Friday. I had posted about it under The House topic. Len came over and gave this lucky bunch a Q&A session. It was one of my favorite evenings ever in 11 years there. Super smart students! They politely asked if they could try on our costumes and we had a great discussion about leg o' muttons and 1890's styles.
