Whilst re-reading Robert Sullivan's book, did I detect a faint note of sarcasm in one passage where he states (when discussing the books written about Lizzie) that one, who assumes Lizzie's guilt, attributes her spells as temporal epilepsy, diagnosed by the author 75 years after the trial (I am probably not quoting correctly) but this is obviously a reference to Ms Lincoln's book. Judge Sullivan doesn't even acknowledge the authors of the other books. I wonder why?

Because it's a pretty damn outrageous claim! I love Lincoln's book, but I'm no longer blind to her occasional bs.
