WOW
Yes, great cover art. Compels one to flip the cover and examine the content. The Literary Hatchet Covers, with their eerie, creepy and somewhat sinister "face" images are quickly becoming a classic trademark for the Hatchet's little cousin.
Below are the first three covers. All soon to become timeless and collectable.

I await the hard copy before delving in to read it.
But that being said, looking it over quickly on the computer I came across a poem called SHADOW. Very nice. It caught my eye because I wrote a poem which I called SHADOW, but later changed the title to THE DARKNESS. Even more quincentennial was that the poem, The Darkness, was included in the first issue of the Literary Hatchet.
I am very happy to see so much poetry in this issue. A publication can not paint itself more "Literary" then to do so with poetry.
Nice one Ms. Rouse.

What a great cover, Stef! Skimming the pages, it looks like a really good issue.
I did read T.K. Rouse's "Shadow" on page 58. I thought it was very good.
I also read Kat Koorey's "One" on page 41. Wow! I thought it was very powerful. I won't forget this one for a while.

Such talent, Kat.

Stef dedicated this issue to our William, notice?
And I have a weird story to mention.
My poem "Give In" is seemingly haunted!
By Bill!
I typed it without punctuation on this old laptop. Then I removed my glasses and leaned in close to the screen on my lap to add that and check everything. It was 2 pages on the screen- 2 screens worth. Toward the bottom of the first screen there was William Schley-Urlich's name embedded in my poem~ I had not typed it!
I sat in wonderment and talked to him in my mind then, and meditated a bit to feel the power of the moment. Whether it was some sort of glitch or not- it was awesome because of the poem's message, anyway.
Then after that time-out, I resumed scanning over my transcription- and there was his name again! Written fully out- embedded within my poem I had just typed!
Well, I sent it along to my publisher (Stef) with the story of how strange this all was- and without my knowing she printed it as I sent it to her. So, Bill is iN my poem~ and only Forum members will ever know or understand this story!
