Stefani has an update on the Mondo Lizzie Borden website. Evidently, Chloe Sevigny has taken on another role, for the time being, so who knows about the proposed HBO project?
Apparently, CS is buds with Tom Hanks, whose Playtone production company is supposed to be backing the project.
If Ms. Sevigny remains unavailable, I still hope my personal fave to play Lizzie, Elisabeth Moss, will step in--as far as I'm concerned, IMHO, etc., etc., she was born to play this role. She's even a July-birthday Cancer.
If the HBO project falls through, I sincerely hope Ms. Moss will consider a big-screen version.

Thanks, DJ. I would think this means not all hope is lost? This story desrves a miniseries. It sounded like they were going to go through with it. I was getting excited about Chloe S., but seeing someone else in that part, if rightly done, would be juicy. I would hope they built the sets to scale and brought in as much authenticity as possible, but... this has all been said before so I won't go there. Please don't give up on this one, Tom Hanks. America should be told cinematically a very rich piece of its history, let alone crime history... Maybe there is a place we can write to find out the offical details. I have been waiting for this, as I'm sure some have, for 20 yrs.
