I was looking on that new ioffer place and I saw the Eliz. Montgomery movie... cheap. $12.00.

I immediately bought it...

It came today. It has been burned on to a DVD... (I expected it on VHS) It works... But it has to be illegal... I need to start reading the fine print!

What is worse... I am keeping it..

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to presence of attorney during any questioning.. :lol:

It has turned into something of an unusual day all the way around...

I went to the church for a "we need money" meeting this afternoon and one of the suggestions to raise money was to serve daily noon meals to the windmill workers who are in the area constructing windmills to provide energy. We decided we needed to ensure there was sufficient interest before brewing up copious amounts of some (dreadful) goulash to serve these hungry men. It was decided someone would drive out to their work camp and talk to them. Everyone else was scandalized at the idea of appearing in this camp--naturally I was delighted with the idea and volunteered immediately. I called my sister in law Mary on the way over to her house with the instructions "put on a short skirt and think of some clever remarks". Naturally, she obeyed.
We arrive at the work camp and emerge from my large SUV and see this group of men gathered around a "spot-a-pot" near to a trailer. Needless to say it was not an ideal situation. Mary froze in her tracks. I managed to dig deep down into myself and pull out generations of good breeding which caused me to raise my hand in a spirited wave and shout "enchante" to them.... Naturally they were delighted.... Fast forward to we have dozens of hungry men eager to fill the church basement for the aforementioned (dreadful) goulash.

After coffee and pie in a smart little cafe, I drop Mary off and head for home.

I see I have a message! Naturally I am delighted.
A week or so ago I taped a new greeting on our home answering machine... It is the infamous Mrs Miller belting out some (dreadful) doobie doobie do's in the beginning of "strangers in the night" followed by me saying... "Don't be a stranger.. leave a message".... (insert beep).

Thayne, who has no tolerance (or sense of humor) when it comes to Mrs Miller was not thrilled with this message.... I say-- he doesn't need to call home when everyone else is away....

Audrey, congrats on both your accomplishments! I like your moxie, what sign are you again? Which version of the Legend movie did you get, the European version with the nudity or the plain ol' U.S. version that I have? :roll:

OK OK OK 1967!

European version. It is an illegally burned to dvd version. There is no artwork with it and it is just a plain memorex cd like one can buy in any walmart.

I guess I should destroy it and turn the seller in.. But I do not plan to do that...

My "little" brother, a professional jazz musician, was born on January 11, 1963. While he would not approve the sale of bootleg creative work (having a recorded a couple of CDs himself) he is a strong-willed, intelligent and only slightly loony Capricorn.

You didn't know it was a bootleg copy when you bought it. I doubt the seller is keeping many records. Keep it and have fun.

:lol: Well, I didn't need the year, but, thank you for being so honest! I say just keep the dvd and enjoy it, if it had been available to you from the original source of the movie, they would have reaped the profit. Or, you could burn a copy from your copy and then destroy the original and turn the owner in. :wink:

My husband was a Capricorn, we were unstoppable together, the goat and the lioness. :smile:

Do you let Thayne think hes king of the castle? :wink: Yes, I'm a Leo, but, being born so late in the sign, I think I and my twin have more Virgo tendencies. I'm more like a house cat than a lion until someone gets me angry, then watch out! Madonna is a Leo, I think she is like the epitomy for the Leo female, very strong willed, able to fend for herself grandly. She just has a little too much of that Leo "Look at me, look at me" thing going on at times, anything to get attention, that makes me cringe. I hope I never come across like that. :shock:

Thayne is the most laid back person I have ever met. He seldom puts his foot down (with me) about anything and lets me pretty much do as I please. He is a strict father and a somewhat tough boss to work for-- he can be a bit ruthless in business. He recently started an import/export business with some of his friends and I was shocked at how blase he was about exporting rot gut gin to Japan...

He is the kindest man I have ever known. He refuses to use profane language, has never smoked and keeps himself fit.

He is the only man I ever seriously dated. I met him when I was 16 and knew immediately I would someday marry him.

I don't say it enough-- I adore my husband. Sitting here writing about him brings those joyful tears I love so much......

Doug, I don't think there is anything wrong with being a Leo, we're warm, we're loveable and can be the life of the party. We're loyal friends and lovers to the end. The only thing I've noticed with some of my fellow Leo friends is that they would be better suited to a life as an actor or musician, they just CRAVE attention in the worst way and will do anything to get it. :roll:
