This from the Pullman herald (Pullman Wash.) April 20, 1895... "A New England Horror".... " The latest horror in New Bedford is the "Lizzie Borden Club". The president uses a hatchet instead of a gavel, and the passwords are "Not Guilty."

I wonder whether it was really just a social club, or whether it was full of genuine Lizzie supporters who discussed the ins and outs of the case as on this forum? What if you thought she was guilty? Would you be banned for life?
