Would it be possible to do a psychological profile of Lizzie using available texts and letters that she had written? As well as a handwriting analysis? Maybe these things could give us a better look into who she was prior to and after the murders.

John Douglas (take him or leave him as he got some of the facts wrong which makes his analysis somewhat suspect but not necessarily incorrect) did a profile in his book The Cases That Haunt Us. I'm inclined to agree with much of what he comes up with but this is not the consensus of the members of this forum. I copies and pasted those sections into posts which are somewhere in the archives here.

Would you mind giving us an example of what you are looking for using both psychological profile and handwriting analysis?

Depending on how she wrote, one can analyze if she thought highly of herself, was shy, suffered some sort of abuse, etc. I thought of doing that (taking a class to get certified). It's fun! I would love to see what her psychological profile was. I like John Douglas but haven't read too much of his work.

Yes, this is what I meant by a handwriting analysis. It would give us a glimpse into her personality, and I think that would be very interesting.

OK, thank you, Mystery and Violette, for clarifying what you are looking for.

The most informative and best handwriting analysis on Lizzie Borden that I have come across while surfing the internet, is on Mondo Lizzie Borden, and the article was written by Stefani Koorey! Kudos to you, Stef! :thumright:
