Got to thinking about this. Does anyone think Lizzie was set up? Or maybe just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Any thoughts on this,.

Yes, but by whom? I've never been convinced of Lizzie's innocence or guilt. At the very least she had guilty knowledge. Consider that she had three things that tend to establish guilt: motive, means and opportunity. It doesn't prove guilt, but doesn't put her in very good light.

If we were to go on motive means and opportunity, then we would have to consider Emma. She could have done the same thing on a different day. I know she was out of town on the day the parents were killed, but she could have had it set up that someone else came in and did the deed. And knowing that Lizzie would be by herself, she would be the most hardest looked at. Going from that angle, I would have to look at the relationship between Lizzie and Emma.
