Has anyone read this book? I found it very interesting and it seems legit. The author went to original documents but also relied on Parallel Lives and others.... she questions or outright deflates some common beliefs (eg. Did Lizzie Borden really try to purchase prussic acid the day prior to the murders? Maybe.... but she offers some reason to doubt). She tried to gather as much factual information as she could (vs) what made the papers. which wasn't always factual. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had read this book and what they thought?

My wonderful wife gifted me this book for my birthday . I would not have known to hint about it if not for this forum so thank you! I think it is an excellent account of the trial and really liked the format. It made the trial much easier to follow and understand by including news accounts in real time. I very much recommend this book!

I'm tempted to buy it. Looking it up now.

Just bought it for Kindle, as well as it's audible add-on. :P Yay, more reading material.
