Well, I'll tell you Denise, I am not a fan of Joyce Carol Oates’ books, so I found it a bit difficult to connect with your essay, for that reason. However, I did read your essay all the way through and felt it was very well written. I just wish I was more into Joyce Carol Oates’ books.

I was looking for honest feedback. You gave me what I wanted. I appreciate feedback even if critical as that is how I grown and improve as a writer. Since you found my essay "well written," do you think you might delve into more of my work? There is quite a bit online. I also have a few books published, both "regular" books and ebook only publications.
