Sequence of inquest witnesses

I am working on a deep dive of lizzie’s inquest testimony, paying particular attention to how the questions and her responses morphed over the 3 days. Lizzie testifies each day, aug 9-11. In the inquest copy, the witnesses in volume 2 are listed. Do we know if that is the order of testimony and which day each person testified? For example, do we know who testified between lizzie’ testimony on the 9 & 10th? Hoping one of the long time experts can shed some light.....thanks!

Hello!
Since I had a similar curiosity as you, I was able to research and publish in The Hatchet magazine the sequence of inquest witnesses. The article is at the Lizzieandrewborden website, search term "One's Idea of Cordiality" where you can find the info you seek. It is The Hatchet issue Vol2/Issue 4 (Lizzie Borden in Black and White, pgs 32-36 in the hard copy.)
There is an essay first but as you continue scrolling you will find the timeline and comments:

Thanks for inquiring. :santa: Good luck with your research.

Kat, first, I am thrilled to get a message from you! I’ve read hundred of your posts. Your essay and information is exactly what I was hoping for. Next step is to sit down with the inquest transcript, your witness listing and immerse myself in the flow of those 3 days. For anyone who has testified or been deposed, answers and questions are not as straight forward as they seem when on a piece of paper. There is a dynamic that ink can’t capture. Thanks again!
