Also the Scot Scott (as in Sir Walter), DeQuincey, and Miss Lillian Carter, among others!

Among others:

Ivan the Terrible, Ruby Keeler, Van Johnson, Leonard Bernstein, George Wallace, Althea Gibson, Sean Connery, Tom Skerritt, Anne Archer (same day, same year) and Elvis Costello.

No wonder I don't believe in astrology.

Sorry, Constantine- I've been studying astrology informerly since I was 16 years old! And collecting *Ghosts* in pictures!

1. Why are you sorry?

2. Just because you've been studying it doesn't necessarily make it valid.

3. What would you say the people I've mentioned have in common (aside from being human (with the possible exception of Ivan the Terrible)).

Also King Ludwig II of Bavaria (who built all those castles that impoverished his people at the time but have been paying them back handsomely ever since), Clara Bow, Michael Rennie, Walt Kelly (Pogo cartoonist), Mel Ferrer, Monty Hall, Regis Philbin and Jose Van Dam (among others).[/i]

"I'm sorry" to say we've not more in common.
Of course I consider my exploration of these subjects as
*hobby.*
I don't know famous people or that they would react as a regular person might.
My problem with really famous people is that they are somewhat removed from reality- usually surrounded by a posse or syncophants which protects them. I don't profess to understand any of them.

Count Basie, Jackie DeShannon, Wilt Chamberlain, Nancy Culp, Friz Freleng, Princess Margaret, Kenny Rogers, Kim Cattrall, Kim Sledge, Matthew Broderick, Dame Janet Baker, etc.

Am I in like Flint or what?

Some celebrities, Kat, are very kind hearted people and so easy to get along with while others are stuck on themselves big time! I've been around both types. What I hate are these sports celebrities who claim to be such "wholesome role models" for young kids and yet they are into more dirt than a farmer. Pathetic.

1371 John the Fearless Burgundy France, Duke of Burgundy/warrior

1738 Dr Joseph Ignace Guillotin France, physician/inventor (guillotine)

1892 Minna Gombell Baltimore MD, actress (Bad Girl, Thin Man, Hello Sister)
I've got a warrior, a guillotine, and the wrong actress. What is wrong with this picture?

Though I kind of like the sound of

Purr-ington the Fearless! Ta Dah!

Actually, as you probably know, the Dr. G. invented that contraption to be humane.

WARNING! NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH!
Actually, as you probably know, the Dr. G. invented that contraption to be humane.
If the information I have is correct, which I fear it is, he failed dismally: the head apparently lives on for a minute or so while its blood drains out.

I agree he failed and I think he realized it- that's so sad.
