Hate groups targeting young people

"Project Schoolyard USA" sounds great-- but it is a racist group's clever way of distributing 100,000 hate CDs to school children.

This problem was brought to my attention by an organization I gift called the
Southern Poverty Law Center.

I am passing it on-- this is something people need to know about. If you know of or hear of a child coming home from school with a "free CD" it would behoove you to check out the CD to make sure it is OK for him/her to have.

I remembered being in my early 20s & shocked that this sort of thing was still going on. The older I get, the more I see this world is still in the midst of growing pains & it's a long hard road to understanding. US vs THEM is part of the survival instinct. The animal part of human nature still over rules the spiritual & intellectual when human beings feel threatened. Who knows when this will ever change?

I have just recently been aware of all this
since I entered Real Estate. (where have I been? I really didn't know this prejudice was going on).
I got a house to list for sale, they wanted to move
because of neighbors of another color. I cannot sell
this house, nobody wants to live in a mixed neighborhood. Boy living in Vermont for 25 years turned me into a real hick, now I have to get in tune
with the prejudiced phoney rich people in New Joisey. Oye.

Nat King Cole is one of my favorite singers and I often remember something he said years ago. He moved his family into a rich area of hollywood in the fifties and one of the neighbors came up to Nat and said: "Mr. Cole, we don't appreciate any undesirables living in our neighborhood." Nat said: "Well, if I see any I'll let you know."
It's a shame some people haven't learned to get along.
