I've read articles with erroneous "facts" on the Borden case but this one is near the top. All in one paragraph too. Read the last paragraph for laughs.

Jeez, they must have done NO resarch for that one!
Lizzie living her life out in riches in New Hampshire in the early 1900's, what a hoot.

Let us know Audrey? by the way i have to ask is
that picture one of those "glamour shots? I have to
get a picture taken for my Real Estate card and yuk, I'm not too glamourous. My picture would probably look like everyone's Mother, sweet ol lady.
But, we're going for Real Estate Tycoon here! Just
wondering if I could be spiffed up at all for pix, I have good bone structure and not too bad looking
but my hair and makeup needs serious work.

Probably not because it's a 1999 article. That means it's been up there six years spreading all those wrong "facts". Ugh!

Nancie... It is a professional photograph that The Missing Link (who can not unload a dishwasher) I married asked me to take so he could have it on his desk.... (gag all you want-- I did)

Alax tweaked it with paint shop pro..

Tell us about your new business? Do you like it? I bet it is fun seeing all those houses and meeting all sorts of people--- I hope you are making a killing! If I ever get Linky to agree that we NEED to buy Maplecroft I will DEMAND to bring in my own real estate professional!

And Harry.. You are correct! The mail came back. I should have looked at the dates!

http://www.lgwt.com/ actually, is apparently the "current" issue... three days old... There's a "Something to say?" link there as well...

Uh Oh, Linko must be in the dog house this week?
Audrey, tell your cutie husband you need to buy
Maplecroft so you can turn it into a Masterpiece ala
Martha Stewart style and then sell it yourself (using
me as your Realtor of course) for twice what you paid. We will insert a clause in there that anyone on this forum shall be allowed to visit the home upon 24 hour notice. We can pull together everyone's special skills to help with the renovations...I would volunteer for sewing or garden projects..I bet there are a lot of special skills right here on this forum.. lets hear!

Nancie.... I have never seen (in print) or heard of a better plan... You are simply a genius.

I would love to hear from other Posters, what their
special skills are, ya never know, we could have an
expert on all kinds of things, windows, roofs, floors,
whatever....I had a guy come in my office looking for a Rental, and I only found one place for him, in
need of work, he said "I can do that work..." long story short, he got to buy the place by doing the work. "Shit Happens" (I might make that my signature line if I knew how to do it)

Well, Nancie beat me to gardening, so maybe I could do some interior painting. Sorry, no exterior painting above the firts floor. I'm not good with heights.

When it's ready for promotion and tours, there's where I can really help. Ten years experience guiding historical tours. Twenty-five years experience with commercial graphic design, illustration, advertising copy writing, etc. Nine years experience as Fairhaven's first and so far only Director of Tourism.

Can I be a charming hostess?

I can cook anything you want too!

I can sew as well-- but probably not as good as Nancie!
I do not mind painting but, like Chris, will not go on a ladder.

I can refinish woodwork... I did this fireplace in my formal living room.. (salon!)

Harry, I saw the opening of The Man Who Came to Dinner in '39 starring Monty Woolley. I was twenty years old and spending all my spare time, and money, attending Broadway openings. It was considered hilarious theater-fare for that day.

Hey! At least that guy got the doggerel right!
