Thank you all SO MUCH for your warm wishes!! It has been a great day! My students suprised me with a party and gifts (I had no idea!) and my colleagues remembered with a card. Yesterday, my man and I went to Dixie Crossroads, the best seafood restaurant in Florida, for dinner. Tonight I have to work, teching film history----Bonnie and Clyde!

I love all the effort that went into the personalized cards! Haulover----that one was incredible! Scary actually. And Mark, how did you do that? Is that the booble head photo photoshopped? Cool!

Thanks to everyone! It is great to come home here to read all your messages!

Bonnie and Clyde is in my top-ten list. i'd love to hear a lecture on it. the dvd i have does not even have a commentary on it -- has nothing extra.

Fargo...when you are writing a post...there are several 'emoticons' just to the left of the writing box. Just left-click on the one you want to use...and that puts is in your post. You will 'see' the word that goes with it as in 'smile'...or 'laughing', but when you preview or submit, you will see...the smiley shows up.

You will get those options if you use the white button labled:
"postreply' to post a reply.

If you use "Quick Reply", which I am right now, the choices don't show.
