Lizzie Borden for Six Days in the Providence Journal

For the next six days, the Providence Journal is retelling the trial of Lizzie Borden on the 120th anniversary of Lizzie’s trial. There are many interactive elements to this new coverage, that you should not miss. Also, the Providence Journal appears to be opening up their online firewall so that you and I can enjoy the timeline, videos, and sketches produced and reproduced for this coverage. In 1893, the Providence Journal extensively covered the “trial of the century” and they have reached into their archives to share with us images that appeared in their paper that most interesting month of June.

Also, get a look at their colorized Lizzie. Well done!

Enjoy!
