Here is a little clip from TV6 in Fall River on Professor James Starrs talk about Lizzie. He claims that there is no evidence she did it. You might remember Starrs as the go-to guy for exhuming the bodies—wanted to use modern forensic medicine to help solve the case. He was denied the exhumation by […]

Spirit Encounters with Lizzie
SpiritEncounters, a UK website, offers a section on Lizzie Borden. Full of factual inaccuracies and misspellings, it is still a good sample of what the latest craze with Lizzie seems to be: haunted Borden! Yes, more scary Lizzie in the days to come! It is October and Halloween time after all!
Blast from the Past
Found a link to an article about the sixth annual Lizzie Borden expo in Fall River titled “Lizzie Borden remembered with bouquets, August Expo” from the Standard Times from July of 1997. The full text of the article is online for you to read. A very interesting piece.

When Lizzie made her 19 week trip to Europe from June 21 – Nov. 1, 1890, she sailed aboard the SS Scythia. Intrepid Reporter (bless him) found this amazing site that lists the voyages of this Cunard Line vessel, which includes the dates of Lizzie’s passage.

The talks were given at the First CC on Rock Street, right across from the old Durfee High School. It was my pleasure to meet the church’s pastor, Rev. Robert P. Lawrence, and […]

The same group has added a new section about Lizzie Borden that I know you will find interesting. Using maps and diagrams, […]
