Oak Grove Cemetery is in Need of Repair

Perhaps now that the furor over the vandalism on the Borden monument has died down and the horrible green and black paint has been removed (or sandblasted), we can get down to business fixing the rest of the cemetery. Neglect, lack of funds, limited manpower, weather events, and general malaise have allowed this once great place (part of the rural cemetery movement of the nineteenth century) to fall to wrack and ruin.

Time to fix the old place, wouldn’t you agree?
