The Tiverton Public Library is hosting a talk on Lizzie Borden, next week, on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at 7 p.m.

“Lizzie Borden:The Mystery Continues Lecture

Location: Tiverton Community Center, 346 Judson St., Tiverton, RI
Presented by Tiverton Library Services and Sponsored by the Friends of the Tiverton Libraries.

This presentation is a one hour slide lecture by history teacher, Chris Daley, with photographs of the major players in the case as well as locations both from the time of the murders and how they appear today”

Mondo Lizzie Borden, Episode 7: NOT Lizzie Borden

Being a collector of the weird and fabulous as it relates to the Borden case, I have files of these images saved during the past twenty years. And I would like to share them with you now. Laugh, gasp, chuckle, or rage, these photos were all on eBay. For a price. I used to write the sellers and let them know they didn’t have a Lizzie, but soon gave up on that practice. They didn’t care. Even though they were committing fraud by the sale of the image as a true Lizzie Borden. Oh well.
