I previously informed all Hatchet subscribers about the news soon after the determination was made to publish late. <\/p>\n<p>Our print on demand partner, LuLu.com, raised its color printing costs by 5 cents A PAGE! That means that a color print copy of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hatchetonline.com\/HatchetOnline\/index.htm\">The Hatchet<\/a> would increase $4 to $5. That is unacceptable, and I don&#8217;t believe that the price point for this journal can be justified at around $30 per issue. <\/p>\n<p>So we had to change printing partners. The new company does things differently, and the process is quite protracted. <\/p>\n<p>The next issue will be out in a few days, but Online only, until the printing can be completed in a few weeks. The only way to get this next issue, until mid-December that is, will be as an Online download. <\/p>\n<p>The delay in the publishing has produced a truly wonderful side effect: T<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hatchetonline.com\/HatchetOnline\/index.htm\">he Hatchet<\/a> will be unveiling some new and previously unknown material! The wait worked out perfectly as this late-breaking matter only recently came to light! <\/p>\n<p>To those who are not subscribers, but would like to purchase the November issue in its Online form, arrangements will be made for that download at a single issue price of $10. But then, you could always subscribe to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hatchetonline.com\/HatchetOnline\/Subscriptions.htm\">ENTIRE YEAR<\/a> for only $20 and read all four issues! <\/p>\n<p>So stay tuned . . . . . big things are on the horizon! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The November issue of The Hatchet has been delayed.
