Probably about 6-8 inches on the ground before the sun went down. These photos were taken around 1 pm today, New Year&#8217;s Eve. There was more snow to fall. The wind is howling now, with gusts expected between 25-40 miles an hour. Who knows what the snow will look like when the morning comes. It has been a long long time since I have been in the north during the winter. It never ceases to amaze me how stunningly beautiful and treacherously nasty snow can be.<\/p>\n<p>Happy New Year.
