The Literary Hatchet is a free online\u00a0literary zine. It is free for a reason\u2014and\u00a0not because we couldn\u2019t make money if we\u00a0had a price tag attached to the digital copy.\u00a0It is free because we philosophically believe\u00a0that the work of these artists and writers\u00a0deserves to be read by the widest possible\u00a0audience. We want the PDF to be shared and\u00a0passed from inbox to inbox. We want to be as\u00a0accessible to the greatest number of people,\u00a0not just those who can afford to fork over\u00a0some bucks to read great writing. We do not\u00a0charge for any digital issue.<\/p>\n
