Yesterday in Old Fall River

We arrived right on time, after a really turbulent touchdown, in Providence, RI, secured our rental car and drove to Fall River just a short distance away. I highly recommend flying in and out of Providence when you come to FR as it not only is close by, but you don’t have to worry about Big Dig chunks falling on your head as you travel out of Boston heading south!

We gathered up our Fall River friend and drove to Hoseneck Beach and Westport Point, Mass. Westport Point is an amazing town, right on the river and full of houses that were built during the 1700s.

Tonight we visited Oak Grove, yes in the dark. The gates are were not closed so we drove right in and I took a few snaps of the graves in the dark—they came out pretty well for no flash! Here are shots taken Monday night, around 11:00PM.

The moon was full looking, but I don’t know if it was actually full. It was cool and windy and lovely!
