Re: New Design for LizzieAndrewBorden.com
hey Stefani Did you get permission to use the colored illustrations on your site from the author of THE GIRL WITH THE PANSY PIN?
The main page of the new LizzieAndrewBorden web site is embellished with illustrations specifically made for the deluxe hardcover edition of THE GIRL WITH THE PANSY PIN.
TGWTPP was published in 3 editions. First there's the paperback trade edition, then a limited hardcover signed edition, and finally a deluxe edition, which is signed with signed slipcase. The book is donned with it's own dust jacket, which is different from the trade and limited hardback edition. The slipcase was designed and built by the author, and the book carries exclusive colored photographs designed and colored by the publisher.
The Girl with the Pansy Pin is the only book about Lizzie Borden which was issued in 3 editions (all at the initial release) and the only one with a deluxe box edition. Thus the complexion of a book collector who decides to write one himself.

As the publisher of the book you reference, and the creator of the images in question, I did indeed give myself permission to use them.
The book that mbhenty is sharing is a great book, by the way! One of the best fictional accounts of the case that ever was written. No word of a lie.

Michael, I didn't realize that THE GIRL WITH THE PANSY PIN is available in 3 editions. I have a copy of the paperback trade edition, which, if I remember correctly, I purchased through Amazon, and at the time it was the only edition available, besides the kindle edition - just like it is now: http://tinyurl.com/ybpflgof
Stefani, I took a look at the new design for the LizzieAndrewBorden.com web site, and I liked it! Although, it is going to take some getting used to, mainly because it is so white compared to the previous multi-colored web site. I wanted to give it a day, and then take a look at it again to see if my thoughts had changed, but all that comes up is a page used to test the proper operation of your recent MOJO Marketplace installation of WordPress!

Wow, all is new here! I like very much the portraits on the homepage, marvelous. I like especially that of Morse and that of...Andrew. In the face of the later I don't recognize a victime of a murder case, but... just an impression.
Well done!
Well done!
