Steve - not sure why he would still be alive and just around the corner in the sitting room. Is your question was he mortally wounded and perhaps LIzzie went back to finish the job? The wounds suggest he was killed pretty early in the 'strike' count. Not sure why she wouldn't finish the job before calling Bridget down.

As far as sending Bridget for Alice, Lizzie quickly starting mentioning Andrews arguments with other men and the poisoning. Alice would be able to back up those comments because Lizzie had prepped her on her concerns the previous evening.

I haven't come up with a nefarious reason to fetch Dr. Bowen first, but I also don't think she didn't anything that was intentional and had a purpose.

Good question......I suspect it had something to do with paperwork that Andrew had that she remembered as Bridget came down the stairs that she had removed. Andrew was reading something besides a newspaper in the minutes between getting home and getting killed. But he was not found with any paperwork on him.

So it went somewhere. That is why I think Lizzie going back for those papers is a possibility for stopping Bridget from reentering.

Sounds like you're stewing on a theory based on Andrew not having been killed when Lizzie called down Bridget......what ideas are thinking about that spin of this new notion? Might be an interesting new way to look at things.
