I had forgotten how sure Lizzie was of Abby’s location.

I sometimes, not always, lean toward thinking Lizzie innocent, but this certainly seems like Lizzie trying to get someone to go upstairs and find that body. I could probably come up with some speculation how it could still fit with innocence, but it would be a reach. Hard not to interpret it as "consciousness of guilt."

Just speculation, but if Lizzie did have the ability to not wear her emotions on her sleeve, she may not of been so cool inside her mind. They are two different attributes of personality.
It is possible that Lizzie had immense pressure built inside for
1)a Dr to explain the bloody rags in the cellar—which she did upon his arrival, unsolicited—as far as we know, 2) needing Abby to be found for multiple reasons, such as the time of death gap. Whoever killed her parents probably didn’t think the time gap would be discovered, because in my mind it pointed to someone hiding in the house for much too long to be a stranger.
Unless it was a stranger.
