Memorial Day in Fall River
In a book there is an interview of Emma's saying that "Every Memorial Day I carry flowers to father's grave..."
Since Emma is gone does anyone carry flowers there? I know that lots of people go there and look at the graves, even so people put plants on Lizzie's grave.

Hello Liz, I know that people have left white roses, and sometimes yellow roses, and sometimes pansies - all 3 flowers of which have been said to be Lizzie's favorite.
The family plot is still maintained so maybe that $500 Lizzie left in her Will stretched and is still stretching? I've always thought Lizzie had that for her benefit (gravesite) and not just the "family plot" or "father's grave" in mind.
Contemporary visitors to Lizzie's grave do leave flowers and other momentos from time to time, as I have seen this on my visits there.
