The more I think about this *car-collecting* the more I think it goes along with the 'trying something new all the time.' Maybe every other vehicle is bought because of practical nessessity, and every other one is purchased on a whim of *I want that*. Not that they are not willing to pay- they are willing to work to pay for the thing, (and can stay in a certain job for years =stability), but it's probably more part of the new experience they crave, rather than collecting for collecting sake.

Oooo, Kat, what can you tell us about us Leos born on the cusp of Virgo? Looks like I just missed out on the Andrew and Sarah thing!

Was there any more things in Capricorn which fit you Audrey? What about a love of Music- and needing to have a good time now and then to stay healthy?
Knees or feet ever trouble you?

Sorry- Tracy, I'm not real familiar with Aquarius. I'm under the impression that they are somewhat misunderstood- mainly because they are ahead of everybody else. It's been said *As an Aquarian thinks now, so shall the world in 50 years.* I think Linda Goodman said that.
I do know they like to share, borrow, sometimes not return it- because they just don't think of *ownership* the way another might. The concept of *mine vs. *yours* doesn't really equate. Therefore they are not really tied up or concerned with owning things. I'll think about it some more.

I thought of something else.
They are really pretty easy-going. But they can sure worry!
As a sign, I think they would like to be understood maybe more than anyone else. They need this.

I love music-- The whole family does. We have 2 tv's BUT 7 stereos!

So far OK with the knees and feet-- But I pamper myself...

I do tend to be seasonal affected-- Get sick and blue when I can not be active..

and I LOVE parties!

And dancing with my husband.. cheek to cheek!

THANK YOU KAT ! The being understood thing is very dead on for me. Sometimes I will go to great lengths to make sure I am being understood as I want to be understood. As for the borrowing and taking forever to return...that may happen on occasion..but it is rare....mostly because I rarely borrow anything. Easy going....but worry...oh yes...that is WAY me. You are very good at this ! Anytime you want to pass on any info on Aquarians...I'll be listening !

Well, I was getting at the not needing to own things.
You're not very materialistic, are youTracy?
I mean, you could pack a bag basically and move? Except for your dogs of course.

I am not materialistic in the sense that material 'things' are the most important part of my life. But, it's what those things represent...my family...my friends...and yes, my 'kids' that means everything to me. For instance, you know what I went through to get a copy of the Knowlton Papers...my hell it was awful. But I would give it up in a New York second if I knew it meant my nephew would not have to worry about going to Iraq when he gets out of boot camp at the end of this month

As I get older, I think I would find it harder to move...but overall, I think I could do it if I had to. I could move just about anywhere within 25 miles of the town where I now live. I would even be able to move out of state if I knew it meant better things for me and my family.

Kat...you are very good at this ! Thank you for your efforts !

I'm still thinking about you Susan.
You're not like any Leo-Virgo cusp I can imagine.
I sort of know Leos and I really know Virgos, so I'm still working on it in my mind.

PS: Tracy, if I'm off a bit about sense of ownership, you can say so. I only learn when I make mistakes.

Oh Kat...you are fine with your assessment. I very much admire how you are 'tweaking' your assessments until you feel like you have them just right and are comfortable with them.

I think because in recent years I have become more family-centered, that I am not materialistic like I probably was when I was in my teens and 20's. My focus is not so much on my 'things' but on making surely I am 'at the ready' to take care of family members or my closest of friends (I consider them family), should the need arise. I would certainly not want to move out of my home...but if I had to in order to care for a loved one...I would. I rarely borrow things, mostly, because of living by myself, I have most of what I need already.

I think that along with the 'nature' part of astrology, some 'nurture' has to play into how we as individuals use our 'characteristics'. Even though I am very much an Aquarian, I am just a bit different than my Aquarian friends...and they just a bit different from....etc... We all may have the basic Aquarian characteristics/mindset, we just 'get there' in our own unique ways. Like a zebra's stripes, or an orca's markings...all different...no two exactly alike...but yet a zebra is a zebra, and an orca an orca.

You keep on going with this...I love it !

I'm enjoying the thread. However, I am not a good example of Gemini. I've even had another Gemini tell me I was too "earthy" to be a Gemini. Slightly schizophrenic, but otherwise a bad example. Have lots of "earth" in my chart & was raised almost exclusively by a mass of Virgoes & Taureans.

You all need to look at a book called "The Secret Language of Birthdays." It analyzes each day of the year, and tells you many characterisitics about yourself. My friends and I have been astounded by its accuracy. It covers relationships, other people born on your birthday, etc.
You should be able to find it in your local library, and any Borders or Barnes and Noble will have it for your perusal.

That is a very good book. I loan it to people who don't think there is anything to astrology.
Tracy has a good point about nurture and the markings on a zebra. Good example Tracy!

Guess what? Stuart is a Capricorn who doesn't own a car!
But he's a gentleman and hasn't mentioned it!
I had to factor him in tho, when I gave my Capricorn remarks. That's partly how I *work.*

I also tend to conform to many of the Capricorn characteristics, good and bad! Audrey is lucky, she only has the positive ones! Me, I've got the whole load.

The "factoring in" process is finding a Capricorn with an atypical trait. Then figuring out what the bigger picture is.
The bigger picture is probably the *collecting* part, because he owns and runs a resale shop and I think I can call that a *collection*! It would also involve the tendency to want to sample new things. It's not necessarily something which is *new*- but something new to Capricorn..

Thanks, Kat. Most people are surprised when they learn that my brother and I are Leos, but, think they see more Virgo in us. Aren't Virgos supposed to have great organizational skills? We both have that in common.

Susan, you're a tough one.
I have to say I don't see much Virgo in you, unless I don't know you as well as I thought.

Should this conversation be in Stay to Tea? On the original topic didn't Andrew and Abby take vacations to Swansea together? This might indicate to me that there was some affection there.

I think it will make an excellent thread for Stay to Tea. Everyone seems interested in your "parlor trick". You seem to have a real knack for it Kat. It seems you have hit everyone's signs dead on.

I was going to ask in my last post if the crime was ever presented to a reliable psychic, and this would seem to be a more appropriate time to ask.

It was looked at by Kenney Kingston who is somewhat famous. And by Jane Doherty.
