How clean is your house?

Has anyone seen this show on Lifetime?

MON DIEU!

How in the world do they get people to consent to appear on this show and admit to living like that???

I watch it with an almost sick fascination. I have never known anyone who lived like that---- Well, I guess I should say you never do know how people may be living!

Well, Audrey, you haven't been in some of my customer's homes. I remember early one evening just after it got dark I arrived at a customer's home and after entering I started smelling something rank. I looked down and realized I had stepped in dog poo. Embarrassed I went out side to scrap it off. I turned on my flashlight and that whole yard was covered in poo! Every 6" there was a pile. The inside of the house was imaculant.

Another customer had a home that looked as if a tornado ripped through it. Twice! She had junk piled every where.

The absolute worst was an elderly couple my dad befriended. These people had never taken a bath and had a pile of cat poo under their kitchen table 2 feet high! I'm not kidding you. I saw it. They just swept it under the table. They had to have had a screw loose. I've seen some disasters but that was the worst.

I'm a neet-nik like my grandmother. I keep everything clean and organized. I can't imagine living any other way. I never saw that show you mentioned. I don't watch too much TV. Too much filth on it. I do like the Walt Disney cartoons though. I guess some of us just never grow up.

Audrey--is this the one with the 2 English ladies? If so, it is a hoot.

Thats such a great show, I love the hostesses, they're alot of fun! I too am shocked and appalled at how some people live that they highlight on the show! The absolute filth that is in the food preparation areas is just downright nauseating, how can they stand to eat out of a refrigerator that is crusted with gunk?

I know one couple who live like some of these people and they have a child thrown into the mix, yikes! I could go on and on what the cause is for them living like this, too many pets, etc. I feel so repulsed whenever I visit that I sneak clean things and pick up things, I just can't stand it!

My house is by no means spotless. Too many people living here sees to that-- But it is not a sty!

If I lived like those people I would never allow television cameras in the door!
