Theres a series on the Biography Channel called Enigma that just came to my attention. I don't know if it will just be a replay of the History's Mysteries version of The Strange Case Of Lizzie Borden, I checked on TiVo and it listed the show as being a 2005 production which means it should be a new show. Anyway, it will be airing on 2 days:
Thursday, December 22, 10-11pm ET/PT
Friday, December 23, 2-3am ET/PT
"Lizzie Borden took an ax, and gave her mother 40 whacks; when she saw what she had done, she gave her father 41." Most of us know the grisly rhyme, but not the whole story. Who was Lizzie Borden? Did anyone watch the show? Though it was a 2005 production, they interviewed the owner of the B&B which was the old owner before Lee Ann. There were re-enactments that I had seen on another show before, really nothing earth-shattering or new. But, they did have on Michael Martins *sigh* and it was neat to see the house. Oh, and they did have a film clip of Nance O'neil, it was a talkie, pretty cool to hear her talk and imagine her conversing with Lizzie.

Drat, I don't get the Biography channel. It's a premium channel on satellite, but my Direct TV can be programmed to look for key words in the daily write ups for what's on up to to 24 hours in advance. It hasn't mentioned anything on Lizzie for sometime now,

Yes, I did see it. I even watched it with my sixteen year old nephew who is now getting a crash course on Lizzie Borden. He wanted to know why Emma was suddenly out of town during the murder? Anyway, I liked the way they did it over all. Thought it was interesting when they said that one of the judges during the jury instructions pretty much said to let Lizzie go. I also liked the clip of Nance O'Neil. She looked very blonde in the clip and I noticed they had her sitting down and sort of looking up. Wonder if they did that because she was so tall? In the clip she sort of looked like one of those women gangster molls from the 1930s.
