New Board Style choice

Post by Adminlizzieborden »

I added a new board style to the forum. This means you have the option to view the board the way it looks now (colors, buttons, etc.) or use a new color scheme.

To access the new style please visit your Profile (link is on the main page on the left sidee).

Go to the Preferences section and you will see a drop down menu for Board Style.

The new style is named "flowerpower".

Select it and then go to the bottom of the profile page and hit "Submit".

Then reload the page or hit the Forum bookmark again in your browser. You will see the new style.

You can change back to the old one anytime you like. Let me know if you like it!

The orange color is interesting. I like the big button indicating the new messages.

Think I'll try it for awhile.

The sub-silver style is a little more easy on the eyes for me. I think I will stick to that. I have to look at a computer screen all day at work, so the orange kind of bothered me.

No offense to the folks from the land of Citrus Growers, but I think I'll stick to the chilly New England sub-silver.
I've met Kat and Harry and Stef, oh my!
(And Diana, Richard, nbcatlover, Doug Parkhurst and Marilou, Shelley, "Cemetery" Jeff, Nadzieja, kfactor, Barbara, JoAnne, Michael, Katrina and my 255 character limit is up.)

I really find the sub-Silver a more soothing mode, so I've gone back. The new one was a little 'hot' for me.

But thanks for the options, Stefani!

For some reason, the contrast of the type/text against the new background looks very crisp and is easier to read.
Sometimes, before, I had to increase my font-size.

I'm pretty happy with the contrast.
Thanks!

I think the new scheme is a little easier on the eyes!
The message threads looks cleaner. I like it.

I think I'd like it if it was not orange, which is my least favorite color.

The orange may be a bit too strong. How about a Bedford cord blue? After all, blue was Lizzie's favorite color.

Neat option, Stefani! I'm so used to the usual Forum colors, its nice to shake things up, now and then. Think I'll give the flowerpower a little whirl.
