"Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime. It's no joke. Last Thursday, President Bush signed into law a prohibition on posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying e-mail messages without disclosing your true identity.

In other words, it's OK to flame someone on a mailing list or in a blog as long as you do it under your real name. Thank Congress for small favors, I guess."

That article makes the point over the definition of "annoy".
Would saying that Arnold Brown solved the crime in theory annoy anyone?
Would saying that Arnold Brown came up with the best solution yet annoy anyone?
Would asking if anyone else has done as good a job as Brown annoy anyone?

I believe in the above statements 1000%. But if anyone publishes a new and better book then I reserve the right to change my opinion.

Au contraire! All I get is aggravation from the True Believers in Lizzie's guilt. EVEN though she was correctly found 'not guilty' like OJ Simpson.

Consider the case of Marilyn Sheppard. Murdered at home, her son and husband left alive. ("Why leave a living witness?") In 1964 F. Lee Bailey received national fame as the lawyer who got Dr. Sam a new trial and conviction (Sheppard v. Ohio). Then who did it?

I recommend James Neff's "The Wrong Man" for interesting reading.
