Lizzie on the stairs

Post by Angel »

I have looked for the previous post where some creative person had Lizzie walking up the stairs, and I can't seem to find it. It was very creepy and well done. Does anyone know where to find it? I think it should actually be permanently displayed in the Art section because it was so good.

Veronica Lake. Great avatar, Angel.

That's my creation. You can find it in the library at:

I don't know where the red and black marks came from on both Lizzie swinging the hatchet or her climbing the stairs. I'll have to send Stefani new ones that don't have those marks.

I love the one with Lizzie climbing the stairs! Good job Harry. I only noticed red marks on Lissie's dress climbing the stairs, not swinging the hatchet.?

Thanks Harry.

I actually like the red marks. It lends a kind of poltergeist eerie phenomenon about it.

The beginning where she first appears at the bottom of the stairs really creeps me out. Very effective.

I recall Bette Davis saying that they shot Baby Jane in black and white because of how hideous she looked in that make-up in color, I see what she meant. There is no way that you come anywhere near that, Mary Ellen! You always look very attractive in your pix.

Thanks, Harry. After looking at Lizzie on the stairs, I won't sleep tonight.

That is a very cool creation Harry. What program did you use in making it?

That scene was created by only 9 frames or individual pictures strung together. The more pictures you added would make her move too smoothly, almost like floating up the stairs instead of climbing them.

By far the hardest part was placing her behind the railing and still being able to see through it. The program I used to create the frames was ACDSee. Lots of tracing, cutting and pasting.

I remember the program that I had I was not able to adjust the speed so the frames were sent to Stefani who had a program to regulate them.

I checked the frames for the red marks and sure enough one frame had them. Kind of odd as the source photo was black and white. Maybe its just the deterioration in the photo. Lord knows how many times it was altered and saved to get the position right.
