the killer was left handed-- Lizzie was right handed

Post by snokkums »

I was reading in "Did Lizzie Borden Axe for it" and it states that the killer was left handed and that lizzie was right handed. Is it possible that maybe Lizzie knew the killer maybe possibly hired the person? I mean it doesn't make sense that a person is going to come in the house and kill two people when there are four in the house. Why leave a living witness? Unless Lizzie could use both hands equally.
Or maybe the report was wrong and it was a right handed person. It just seems odd to me that no one saw, to include Lizzie and Bridget, a person go in the house kill two people and they are left alive and didn't killed.

In ancient times left handed people were though to be sinister or not to be trusted.

Perhaps Lizzie was anbidextirous. Some studies of Jack the Ripper suggested that he possibly may have been ambidextrous.

Not a comment about women you understand, but I would imagine that most women would use two hands to swing an ax.

Interesting.
