Welcome aboard, Linda!
There is plenty of information on this site and a loaded archive full of goodies about Lizzie and the case. The best thing about this site is that we deal in fact, not fiction. Other sites are loaded full of errors as are the books you find in the libraries.
You may want to start with the diagrams of the house and how it is laid out and the events of the morning of the murders. That will give you an idea of the goings on that morning and who was where and when.
I've never been to Lizzie's house myself but several of the forum regulars have and they all said it was a wonderful experience!
So take your camera and enjoy yourself. We will expect a full report when you get back. Have fun!

Oh thank you SO much! I have always wanted to spend the night there but JUST found out about it---it was a surprise gift---and though I have always been fascinated with the Legend of Lizzie and thought I had a handle on the basics, I come here and see I know very little! And with just a few days to absorb all the info I realized I hit a gold mine here.
I have been wandering around all day on here steeping myself in your knowledge. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the acquired information and experience you all have provided.
I have so many questions I don't know where to begin, so I'll do as you advise and use the search features! Thanks again!

There is an odd *water tank* in Bridget's closet at hair level. That was searched by the police but not on the first day. That should still be there.
Also, in the back entry hall by the side door, first floor, you can find where the opening to the old sink room was, if you feel with your hands- thru the wall paper.
That area is supposedly where Emma was doing dishes when Lizzie burned her clothing material.
You will be one of our first to see the new barn!
