Sounds like our girl is everywhere. Way to go, Lizzie!

When I was a kid a friend and I loved to sneak around an old abandoned house to see if we could scare ourselves to death. One day a tall old woman caught us and that did nearly scare us to death!

Creepy places always interested me. Remember Boo Radley's house in "To Kill A Mockingbird?"

World's Creepiest Places

Post by Michael »

I am a veteran guest of the Lizzie Borden B&B (twice, with a third stay scheduled for April). I also watched World's Creepiest Places on Friday night. The irony is that the B&B is so well kept, so clean, so utterly "homey" that you would never suspect that a double homicide occurred there. I have been to several of the sites discussed in World's Creepiest Places, and I just don't agree with the B&B listed as #1. St. Peter ad Vincula (the small chapel on the grounds of the Tower of London - now THAT is a creepy place.
Q. "You have been on pleasant terms with your stepmother since then?"
A. "Yes sir."
Q "Cordial?"
A. "It depends upon one's idea of cordiality, perhaps."

I was thinking the same thing! The Tower is certainly one of the creepiest places! I agree!

Yes the Tower of London is very creepy! I had the luxury visiting London and that was on the my stops!! It's even creepier in person! I guess that is one of the hazards of being in the Marines for 12 years, you get to travel and see some off the chain sites.

I will look forward to meeting you, Michael when you come to FR. That America's Creepiest Destinations was filmed a very long time ago and I think the house won as at the time, it was the only place where one could spend the night. I understand The Myrtles is now a B&B. I think the Winchester Mystery House is much creepier.

Why, Shelley, I believe we already met . . . at Lizzie's B&B last July, if you're the same Shelley I believe I'm talking about - Len's friend. Right?
