Feedback requested on Congregational Church Whittling

Post by ddnoe »

My most recent Whittling is about Lizzie's Church, the Central Congregational Church. I'd appreciate any feedback on the article even if it is critical.

Hi,

I just read the article last night and I really liked having an insight into Lizzies religion. I also liked seeing the pictures of the chuch too. Got a question you said that the church was used in an Aerosmith video? Which video? Can you see any parts of the church at all in the video? Also I see that you write for the Gauntlet, is that the Gauntlet magazine based out of Colorado Springs? I grabbed a few old copies I had of the magazine to see if I could find anything you had written. What issues are you in and do you use the same name?

(Denise Noe) I'm sorry but I don't have any details about the Aerosmith video.

(Denise) I use the same name, Denise Noe. I'm not sure in which issue my article appeared but it was about Charles Manson's myth vs. his shabby reality. I greatly expanded that piece into an article called "The Manson Myth" that appears online at http://www.crimemagazine.com/04/manson,1212.htm.

There are scenes in the video "Cryin" that were shot at the former Central Congregational Church:

Thanks for the video link! I never thought I would see that. Yup that's inside the former church.

BTW: I had to remove the ' = ' sign on the end of that link in order to get to the right video page.
