The Names in Question

I work at a public defender office, and we maintain a computer database of our clients from the beginning of the company in the early 90's. That said, and without breaking the rules of confidentiality, I just checked and found that we've had clients named Borden, Churchill, Bowen, Morse, Robinson, Wilbur (though NOT Wilbar or Wilber), Russell, and Harrington. No Knowlton, btw.

(Methinks you have this case too much in mind to be looking up possible clients named Morse!- but I'd be doing the same thing!)

What about "Smith" and "Jones" and "Brown"?

What does that show other than common family names?

Come on Ray, you have to admit that if you are a true Bordenite then your heart races when you encounter the surname of any of the list of characters from the Borden saga in your everyday life. I know mine does even when the amount on the cash register comes to $18.92

Killjoy seems to be an understatement. I personally think what you found is pretty cool. In our Home Health agency, we've had Russell, Borden, Robinson and Wilbur. I don't recall ever coming across a Harrington.
