Molestation!
I have always heard rumors to the effect of Lizzie being molested bt her father and later her uncle John Morse! It was on TV not long ago that Lizzie butchered her fathers face so he could not see her! Anyone slse ever heard this?
"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."

I wonder if you are down the street from "rgreen4411"?
There is no known evidence to support a molestation charge of Andy on Lizzie. Some had questioned why Emma was so withdrawn.
If somebody is to cite some academic story, I don't think its worth the paper its printed on.
Real doctors don't diagnose people they've never met.

I agree, Ray. I've heard many people theorize that Lizzie's father molested her, and that's just what they are: "theories". Maybe it happened, maybe it didn't happen. We will probably never know. But, as of today, there is no definitive proof that it did happen, just conjecture.
Q. "You have been on pleasant terms with your stepmother since then?"
A. "Yes sir."
Q "Cordial?"
A. "It depends upon one's idea of cordiality, perhaps."

These words have been discussed before.
A theory is a way to explain something that you did not actually witness. If you were an eyewitness there would be no need for any theory.
A hypothesis is a suggestion that could explain something.
These words are often used interchangeably.
The theory of Bridget's and Lizzie's innocence is derived from the fact that neither had bloodstains on their dresses and no murder weapon was found.
The hypothesis of "molestation"(?) is a way to suggest some action that no one suspected at the time.
