My family's birthday tradition is to secretly sneak upon the birthday person and place butter on their nose; we do this to put a bit of sunshine in their day (Butter is yellow - sunshine is yellow). Believe me, this is a lot easier said, than done, because the birthday person knows it is going to happen, sometime during the course of the day, so they make a serious attempt to be on guard, at all times ~ the trick or challenge is to catch them when they least expect it. You would think that the birthday person would want a bit of sunshine put in their day, but the feel of butter on one's nose is not the most pleasant feeling in the world. This tradition has given my family many very interesting and fun times.

From March the 20th to April the 20th is the zodiac sign of Aries, I am fortunate to have two son's, my foyfriend, and my best friend born under that sign, so I'd have to agree with you! They are quite unique.
