When were the bodies removed from the house?

Apparently the bodies were not removed from the house until after the funeral service in the sitting room Saturday morning.
Then they were taken to the cemetery in a procession.
After that- by that forenoon, the police were in the house doing their most complete search.
The saga of the bodies begins. They were not buried until August 16th I believe.

That's gruesome. But then everyone in the Borden household seemed to be so tightly "locked" up, perhaps the thought didn't keep them up at night.
What I found to be very interesting, is that I recall reading that Mr. Morse slept on Wednesday evening with the door of the spare room open.
It's such a stark contrast to everyone else's closed and latched doors.
Although I find it odd that a gentleman back then would find it acceptable to sleep so "open" when there was a woman on the same floor.
Since they kept the skulls for use in the trial, did they dig the coffins up
to add the skulls later?
