Spent most of the day at the Lake Lily art Show. Huge show all around the local lake.
It was about 84 degrees. Sunny and bright - blue skies. I hear it's cold up north? This is 2 days after out first cold front...

It was sunny, between 50 and 60 degrees, and blustery up here in southeastern Massachusetts today. But that's how fall is supposed to be. I don't think I could live in a place where it was 84 degrees in mid-October. It's unnatural, I tells ya!

Last weekend we went to a farm in Acushnet, the next town over from us, and took a hayride out to the pumpkin field to pick one for our jack-o-lantern.

That's October!

We passed a *pumpkin field* on the way home! Already picked pumpkins, ready to choose but still very striking in color!

Thanks, Kat, as always, beautiful pics. The first one, is that painting on porcelain tiles? We actually had rain today, the first rainy day in I can't even remember and it was slightly cooler out. Cool enough to wear jeans instead of shorts, but, not cold yet. I saw the most interesting pumpkins at the store today, there were blue pumpkins and a type called the Cinderella pumpkin, wish I had a digital camera and could post pics.

I heard it was raining in So. California. I think they said it hadn't rained yet this year there?

Cool, a photograph on tile? I just thought it was a very detailed painting on tile, how neat!

It rained again today, we're expecting heavy rains on Wednesday and cooler temperatures in the 60s for the next couple of days. It finally feels like Fall!
